Note - Don't forget about our Special Interest Groups: Mac 101 for basic Mac support and SDiOS
for app development for iPhone, iPod and iPads, all at NEW LOCATIONS. (See our Calendar
link for the latest meeting schedules and meeting locations.)
Our next general meeting is on the FIRST Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
Mac podcaster and SDMUG member Adam Christianson is presenting so you can be sure what he covers is in terms you'll understand. Last month he went over what's new and why should you upgrade to Mavericks. But there's a lot more than he could cover in just one presentation. This is a follow-up on last month's presentation. Adam will touch on which Macs are upgradable and how you should prepare prior to the upgrade, then dig deeper with other software that needs updating, extra benefits from 10.9, and more.
Plus we have a preview of the new website for our parent organization iTecSD. We want your comments before we roll it out.
Probably the most important item, our year-end Member Participation Raffle. The rules will be explained at the meeting. Members do not need to be present to win but MUST get their prize at a SDMUG meeting by Feb. 2014.
Q & A is before the presentations so be on time and bring your questions! Doors open at 6:15pm, Q & A begins at 6:50, presentations usually begin by 7:15. Admission is free to the public.
Unofficial dinner after the meeting at a nearby restaurant. More info at the meeting.
