Wednesday, July 1, 2009 - "You Matter" - Social Networking Comes of Age
Our July meeting will have two presentations. First, Dan Novak returns to speak about social networking tools like Twitter and Facebook. What are they, why do you need to know, are they dangerous for kids, why are they in the news today? How is it that "twitting" has caused such problems for a foreign country's censors? What might that mean for me? Dan will try to answer these questions on July 1st.
Next we have the return of Mike Kurtz from the Fashion Valley Apple Store. Mike will go into more detail about the announcements at the Worldwide Developer Conference a couple weeks ago. Lots of new software and hardware upgrades, plus the iPhone 3G S.
The meeting starts at 6:30 with the presentation at 7pm. Admission is free to the public.
