about SDMUG

The San Diego Macintosh User Group is a 501(c)3 non-profit, Apple-recognized association dedicated to bringing people together to share information on computer and technology trends for the personal & professional enrichment of its members.

We hold meetings on the first Wednesday of each month that feature mac related presentations from a wide variety of specialists.

The SDMUG's School Support Program has a core of volunteers who are dedicated to helping schools maintain their computer labs in the best condition possible.

The SDMUG is 100% volunteer-driven. No matter what level of Mac user you are, there is a place for you in SDMUG. Members are encouraged to participate.

With many members having specific interests and needs, the SDMUG is proud of its Special Interest Groups, or SIGs. Currently we have these SIGs:

  • Mac 101, headed by
  • Final Cut Pro Group, headed by Tim Griffen
  • modo212, headed by Jeff Rutan
